From CAE to CAD

WAGO users have been benefiting from the automated workflow capabilities of  ProServe for a long time: Circuit diagrams from the CAE system can be exported to the WAGO smart DESIGNER via Excel, ASCII or bidirectional XML interfaces. Furthermore, interfaces are available for E3.series, ECS CAD, Elcad Eplan, Ruplan and WS CAD. Using WAGO Smart DESIGNER, custom rails can be assembled including accessories and the configuration can be checked for mechanical and electrical accuracy.

What is new, is that the rail assemblies can be fully exported as dxf, dwg, step and iges files for 2D and 3D applications, establishing an interface to popular CAD systems such as AutoCAD, Pro/E, Solid Works, Unigraphics and Wildfire. Thanks to the continuous workflow, significant amounts of time can be saved and error-prone data maintenance can be minimized.
