ELCAD - modular, object-oriented electrical design

For many years, ELCAD iis the current system of choice for planning and documentation for electrical engineers.

ELCAD 7 provides you with easy handling and end-to-end intuitive operation, assured by an object-oriented user interface and PC-based training.

In addition to optimized software ergonomics, capabilities such as unlimited integration capacity, automatic revision management and panel wiring, make ELCAD 7 in this combination to a unique offering for electro-technical engineering. The innovative ELCAD Studio integrates module design based on standardized function modules directly intyo an E-CAE system. This provides options for variation and intelligent Delta management.

The interface between ELCAD and WAGO

An ASCII interface connects ELCAD and WAGO smartDESIGNER, enabling the quick import of terminal data as established on the circuit diaram created by ELCAD into smartDESIGNER. There, they can be tested for plausibility and output as e.g., .pdf file.

ELCAD Version 7.31 and higher and WAGO ProServe V4.1 (including program update) can also bidirectionally exchange data via the XML interface. This assures that the project stage is present in both programs and the optimum utilization of the features of each program.
