Splicing Connectors for All Types of Conductors: WAGO 221-412, WAGO 221-413 and WAGO 221-415

WAGO's 221 Series Splicing Connectors for all types of conductors set new standards. This new series is 40% smaller and even more user-friendly than its successful predecessor, the 222 Series.

These electrical installation “superstars” allow solid, stranded and fine-stranded conductors to be connected faster and more reliably, while conserving precious junction box space. This is made possible not only by their compact design, but also by their transparent housing, easier handling and two test ports.

Your benefits:

  • Up to 40% less space required than for the original WAGO 222
  • Transparent housing for visual inspection shows that the conductor is inserted properly and stripped to the correct length
  • Easy termination via reduced operating force
  • Any combination of conductor types and sizes from 0.14 to 4 mm² (24–12 AWG) is possible
  • Two test slots for all standard test probes

Makes Day-to-Day Work Much Easier

Due to their extremely small dimensions, WAGO's COMPACT Splicing Connectors are ideal for space-restricted applications. Installation is made much easier, while providing additional freedom for future expansions.

Another highlight: the transparent housing. Now, you can clearly see if the conductors are connected properly and stripped to the correct length. Furthermore, two easy-to-access test ports, one in the conductor entry direction and one opposite of this, provide extremely convenient testing conditions – even after installation.

WAGO's new splicing connectors are also easier to use: The operating levers can now be opened and closed using noticeably less force. Lateral hollowed-out grips provide a firm hold on the 221 Series Connectors in any situation.

Use Anywhere in the World – For All Conductor Types

The 2-, 3- and 5-wire connectors accommodate fine-stranded conductors from 0.14 to 4 mm², as well as solid and stranded conductors from 0.2 to 4 mm² (24–12 AWG). They are therefore ideal for connecting different conductor sizes and types to each other. Tinned current bars ensure a permanent, gas-tight and secure wire connection.

Ratings up to 32 A/450 V and 105°C maximum continuous operating temperature allow the 221 Series Splicing Connectors to be used at ambient temperatures up to 85°C (T85), making them ideal for small and large loads. Furthermore, approvals like ENEC or UL make the 221 Series ideally suited for use in worldwide applications.
