BACnet perspective

BACnet, a particularly powerful protocol that is becoming very popular in HVAC application for building automation, will be added to the range of WAGO Ethernet controller products by next year. The IEC 16484-5 standardized BACnet protocol offers a wide definition of complex objects and services for building automation, such as scheduler, trend, and calendar functions. The WAGO BACnet/IP controller supports the B-BC (BACnet Building Controller) profile.

WAGO’s BACnet/IP controller supports the entire range of WAGO-I/O-SYSTEM modules, including special sub-bus master modules (e.g. Belimo MP-BUS or M-BUS).

The controller features a real-time clock, integrated RS232 interface for PTP protocol communications to BACnet serial devices, and a built-in Web server for an external display.
