Surface-mount (SMD) PCB Terminal Block with Pushbuttons
Interconnecting PCB-based LED modules in luminaires and signs has never been faster or easier than with WAGO’s 2060 Series.
Perfect for LED applications by design
WAGO’s 2060 carries key features that make it ideally suited to LED modules, including a very low profile (4.5mm total height); contoured edges; and a light color, all of which are aimed at reducing shadowing in LED applications.
Cost-Saving
Solid or bonded/fused stranded conductors can simply be stripped and pushed in to terminate, while stranded or flexible conductors can be terminated by first depressing the pushbutton to open the CAGE CLAMP ‘S’ spring. Removal of all conductor types is accomplished with a simple push of that same pushbutton. Saves time and money over hand-soldering. Wiring errors can now be remedied easily without costly rework.
Technically Better
The 2060 Series offers superior conductor retention, and the highest electrical ratings (9A / 250V, plus 600V rating for single pole variant) of any connector in its class. It accepts the broadest range of wire sizes and types (18-24 AWG, solid, stranded, flexible, prepared), and the wire entry face features a “balcony” to provide convenient lead-in for wiring from a slight angle.
Easy to Implement
The 2060 Series was designed with ease of implementation in mind. Its pads are on 4mm centers, and will drop into many existing board layouts that utilize competitive devices. It comes in tape-and-reel packaging for ease of implementation into the automated assembly process, and its large pick-up area makes it easy for pick-and-place equipment to handle.
Wide Variety of Applications
Applications include LED modules, light engines, drivers, controls etc as used in LED luminaires of all types: outdoor & indoor; street lighting, area lighting, recessed luminaires & downlights, emergency lighting, signage. It can also be employed in a variety of other industrial electronic applications where SMT or low profile is a requirement.
