4-Conductor Terminal Strips
The 862 series terminal strip was developed specifically to minimize wiring costs while accommodating requirements for easy installation, power distribution, marking, and testing. Features include:
- Terminate up to four conductors (wire size 22-12 AWG) per pole. This allows for easy power distribution, even when terminating differing wire sizes.
- Built with CAGE CLAMP S termination technology allows solid conductors, ferruled conductors, or ultrasonically bonded conductors to be easily terminated by simply pushing the conductor into the contact – no screwdriver required.
- The integrated push button, with molded in slots, accommodates fast and easy wiring of all conductor types (including stranded) – either by hand or with screwdriver (phillips or slotted).
- Built-in test ports simplify troubleshooting with a 2mm / 0.079” diameter test plug.
- Flexible marking options with standard marking (pre-marked), marker strip, or custom marked to your specification with large quantity orders.
- Convenient automatic grounding contact available as an option (see mounting options).
- Mounting options include screw to chassis (from top or bottom), snap-in mounting feet, and DIN rail (see mounting options).
- Application examples: medical equipment, generators, HVAC, dehumidifiers/humidifiers, junction boxes, industrial control panels, etc.
- UL recognized for 600V/5A or 300V/20A
