Secure in any position

With the addition of the new mounting system, the 222 Series now offers options for fixed mounting, strain relief, and terminal numbering, allowing the connectors to be used in a broader range of applications.

Mounting carrier

The mounting carrier has space for four 2-wire, three 3-wire or two 5-wire terminal blocks or combinations thereof.  The connectors are secured by the carrier's endstops, and the test openings in the 222 series products are still accessible with the carrier in place. The carrier can be screwed onto a panel either in an upright or horizontal position and can also be snapped onto a DIN 35 carrier rail in an upright position.

Strain relief plate

An additional component of the system is the strain relief plate, equipped with additional attachment holes and four strain relief tabs to allow cables to be fixed in place using cable ties. The strain relief plate can be easily combined with the mounting carrier.  The resulting combined unit can be screwed onto a panel either in an upright or horizontal position, or snapped onto a DIN 35 rail in an upright position.

Universal right angled adapter

If the preferred orientation is for the carrier to lie flat on the DIN rail, the universal right angled adapter can be used. Just connect the mounting carrier with the angled adapter and attach the angled adapter to the DIN rail.
