The WAGO-I/O-SYSTEM 750 has been expanded by a master for the lighting control DALI, Digital Addressable Lighting Interface. Pre-fabricated software modules provide for easy programming and configuration. Amongst professionals, the DALI protocol is handled as the replacement for the 1 V - 10 V interface. WAGO has taken up this trend and offers their customers hard and software components for integrating the DALI system into the building management.
The new DALI Master for the WAGO-I/O-SYSTEM 750 is a 12 mm wide I/O module that fits all controllers of the 750 series, i.e. for Ethernet, LonWORKS^® and other fieldbus systems. DALI/DSI master for 64 slaves. The slaves, which are usually electronic ballasts as DALI was developed for lighting systems. Any combinations of DALI controls with other groups are possible with the WAGO-I/O-SYSTEM 750.

Additional interfaces, such EnOcean switches, using the wire-less, battery-less radio technology of EnOcean, provide for a wide-ranging selection of providers. The planner has a free selection.

The software WAGO-I/O-PRO 32 is used to program the fieldbus nodes. WAGO supports an easy creation of the application, by offering pre-programmed function blocks for DALI and other lighting applications, as well as for HVAC and blind control.

The configuration and visualization of the application can be carried out using Wizcon from the product family Axeda Supervisor. This SCADA software created by eMation, already contains various function objects for building automation. For WAGO-I/O-PRO function blocks, Wizcon offers suitable animated objects aiding the user in the parameter setting and operation. The communication between WAGO-I/O-SYSTEM 750 and Wizcon is performed via an OPC server, the standardized interface to the most common bus systems.
