I/O radio receiver
Battery-less radio technology with the WAGO-I/O-System - a highly innovative radio concept for operating, control and indicating systems. Energy generation upon push of a button, vibration, light, motion and heat, batteries are not required. WAGO has made a cooperation agreement with the radio engineering pioneer EnOcean. EnOcean develops radoi technologies for radio switches, sensors and other products. The users will profit twice, defined, open interfaces and synergy effects as well.
Benefits:
- High transmission range of 300 m (984 feet, approx. the length of 3 football fields).
- Very low radiation energy of the sender modules - a million times smaller than cellular phones.
- Battery-less radio sender modules are maintenance-free. The required operating energy is 50 µ Ws per action (comparable to the lifting of a mass of 1 g by 5 mm).
- Multifunctional receiver module in the I/O SYSTEM 750, providing the whole applicability of the WAGO-I/O-SYSTEM to the radio technology.
- Protected against internal disturbances. Hundreds of sensors can be operated within one system
- Protected against external disturbances. Multiple sending of radio telegrams, time-shifted against each other. Very short send times.
- Clear sender / receiver assignment. 4,000,000,000 fixed code numbers.
