Fieldbus technology for use in hazardous areas.
The WAGO-I/O SYSTEM 750 is a modular, fieldbus-independent I/O system for decentralized automation. This system, with its fieldbus coupler/programmable fieldbus controller, I/O module and supply module components enables the flexible and economical setup of fieldbus stations (optimal, application-based number of digital and analog I/Os). The WAGO I/O SYSTEM 750 has proven itself time and again since 1995 in numerous applications throughout the world in the shipbuilding industry and in production and process industry automation.
Standard use of this system in Zone 2/22 hazardous areas is also no problem. It also provides for direct connection of Zone 1/21 sensors/actuators and Zone 0/20 sensors. For these types of applications WAGO developed special intrinsically safe digital and analog input and output modules that isolate the intrinsically safe from the non-instrinsically safe section of the system.
