Measuring Currents up to 5A Directly

New input modules of the WAGO-I/O-SYSTEM are designed for currents up to 5A. Having such a high rated current, these modules are especially appropriate for the direct connection of transducers, as they are often used to monitor drives. One typical transducer version is 100A / 5A. This type allows the monitoring of even large drives via fieldbus without the use for further transducers. These modules are an ideal addition to the analogue input modules for currents up to 1A which are designed for classic control sensors.

The new modules are both available as Series 750 version for single conductor wiring and as Series 753 with pluggable connector. It is possible to combine both series in one fieldbus node giving the user the opportunity to decide on the type of wiring.

Thanks to these additions, the compact WAGO-I/O-SYSTEM is becoming even more versatile. The new modules will be available during the 4th quarter 2005.
