4- or 8-channel digital output modules for the WAGO-I/O-SYSTEM will soon be featuring diagnostic functions as an option. The modules will detect wire breakage, short circuit and excess temperature due to overload. In case of a fault, an error data bit is sent to the fieldbus coupler and the error is indicated directly by the module LED. These compact 4- and 8-channel versions add to the 2-channel version which has already been available on the market for some time. Although they incorporate diagnostic functions, the modules only measure 12mm in width.

All modules are both available as Series 750 version for single conductor wiring and as Series 753 with pluggable connector. The user can choose freely and even combine modules of both series.

Thanks to these additions, the compact WAGO-I/O-SYSTEM is becoming even more versatile. The new modules will be available during the 4th quarter.
