I/O System supports negative-switching control logic

Negative-switching digital 8-channel input or output modules will soon be added to the WAGO-I/O-SYSTEM. For companies that export to the USA or the Asian region, these modules are a valuable enhancement. In contrast to the European region, negative-switching components are widespread in these areas. Despite their 8 channels, the modules are only 12mm wide, exactly like the 4-channel versions which are already available. There are two different input module versions: with a 0.2ms or 3.0ms noise rejection input filter. The output modules can carry a current of up to 0.5A and are short-circuit proof. All modules are available as both Series 750 version for single conductor wiring and as Series 753 with pluggable connector. The user can choose freely and even combine modules of both series.

With these new products WAGO expands the range of applications for the WAGO-I/O-SYSTEM, especially for international machine and plant construction. The new modules will be available during the 4th quarter 2005.
